About me…

Hello my name is Lucy and I am a licensed tattoo artist based in Knaphill, Woking, Surrey, UK.

My tattoo journey started about 11 months ago when I first picked up a rotary machine. I then took a course to grasp the skills to enable me to be self taught. I learnt how to tattoo on live models and onto fake skin. I then spent the next 5 months practicing and learning techniques on fake skin.

My studio is private, it’s just me tattooing there. I renovated the room myself. My studio is my pride and joy, my happy place.

In January I received my license to tattoo and my premises license by Woking borough council. This enabled me to really kick start my business and build my skills.

I tattoo a range of styles. I would like to explore styles so any ideas you have are welcome although I do have experience in botanical designs, animal designs, mythical work, abstract designs, fine line and pet portraits. I am interested in hand drawing designs directly onto the skin to create unique artwork that fit my clients body. I also do custom designs and coverups.

I hand draw all my designs pen to paper. I then scan them and edit on my iPad.

When I started my career as a tattooist my motivation was to learn how to tattoo over scars. I personally have had scars that limit my confidence. By covering them up with tattoos I was able to gain confidence and self worth in a body I once hid. My overall goal is to be able to do the same as my tattoo artists did for me.

In the future I would like to own a larger studio where I can work alongside other artists and continue my business.
